Bisexual Awareness week: Busting MYTHS AND MISCONCEPTIONS

It’s officially Bisexual Awareness Week (or simply #BiWeek, for short), and now is the perfect time to catch up on some bi-centric literature!

Bi sexual awareness week or #Biweek is about educating people on the  obstacles bisexuals often face. We spoke with bi-youths who came out in 2020 by accelerating acceptance and showing the world just how diverse bisexual people and their communities really are…

The celebration promotes cultural acceptance of the bisexual community as well as attempts to create a platform for advocating bisexual rights. According to a 2013 Pew Research Center survey, bisexuals represent approximately 40% of the LGBTQ community. Bisexual Awareness Week is a platform to recognize bisexual and LGBTQ advocacy throughout history.
