Apple event 2020 highlights: Pricing, live stream & product details

Even in this pandemic, this year’s apple event was a big news but as we know 2020 is not a normal year. Apple also made the event abnormal by not announcing the next new iPhone. So, Where in the world is iPhone 12? Find out below.

Apple Watch Series 6 | Rs. 40,900

The main focus at the Apple event was Apple Watch Series 6. This next-generation smartwatch have a built in blood oxygen meter to measure oxygen levels — alongside offering pulse tracking and heart rate monitoring also comes with its new FITNESS+ app which also feature an always-on display.

Apple Watch SE | Rs. 29,900

Alongside the Apple Watch Series 6, Apple had launched a more affrodable option comes along with GPS support. The Apple Watch SE is also tipped to have cellular variants, though you wouldn’t get always-on display and ECG functionality.

iPad Air 4 aka iPad Air (2020) | Rs. 54,900

The new model could feature a design similar to that of the iPad Pro family and offer a larger screen-to-body ratio with Touch ID-equipped home button. Apple says it will be equipped with an A14 processor that is 40% faster than its predecessor.

The new 8th Generation iPad | Rs. 29,900

Apple announced a new version of its most affordable iPad, now called the iPad 8th Generation. It has a faster A12 Bionic chip and an optional rugged case for schools. It still works with the Apple Pencil, too.

Apart from the new products, Apple is likely to spill the beans on its unified subscription offering that would be called the Apple One.

Apple reportedly expects to manufacture about 75 million units of the iPhone 12 for this year’s last quarter. iOS14 , the latest version of Apple’s software, has been rolled out for users today already, so you can at least get a glimpse of the new iPhone’s interface on your older devices, too.
