Warner Media to discontinue HBO and linear movie channels in India and South Asia. WarnerMedia International has announced that it will be pulling off its movie channels in India, Pakistan, Maldives and Bangladesh from 15 December 2020. The channel line-up includes HBO (SD and HD) and WB.

The company cited “dramatic market shift in the pay TV industry” for the closure of the channels, which had been running for over a decade. WarnerMedia will continue to offer Pogo and Cartoon Network in India and distribute CNN International.
